OUR BELIEFS

WE BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE IS THE TRUE INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD WHICH CLEANSES OUR SOULS AND SAVES US. IT HOLDS THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE AND THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. THE BIBLE SHOWS US GOD’S PRINCIPLES AND STANDARDS FOR LIVING; AND IT IS THE FOOD THAT SUSTAINS US IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

(2 Tim 3:16 KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Tim 3:17 KJV) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

(1 John 2:5 KJV) But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. (1 John 2:6 KJV) He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

WE BELIEVE THAT BELIEVERS SHOULD LIVE A SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE OF HOLINESS.

(Lev 10:10 KJV) And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean.

(Rom 12:1 KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Rom 12:2 KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

WE BELIEVE THE ETERNAL EXISTENCE OF ONE TRUE GOD WHO REVEALS HIMSELF AS (FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT). HE HAS A DIVINE AND HUMAN NATURE. HE IS DISTINGUISHABLE BUT INDIVISIBLE. (THREE MANIFESTATIONS OF ONE GOD)

(1 John 5:7 KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

(John 10:30 KJV) I and my Father are one.

(John 1:1 KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the WORD was GOD.

(John 1:14 KJV) And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(1 Tim 3:16 KJV) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

(1 Cor 8:6 KJV) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

WE BELIEVE IN WORSHIPPING THE LORD IN SPIRIT, SONG, DANCE, AND WITH THE RAISING OF OUR HANDS. WE BELIEVE THAT WE ARE TO PRAISE AND WORSHIP HIM WITH OUR WHOLE BEING.

(Psa 150:1 KJV) Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. (Psa 150:2 KJV) Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.(Psa 150:3 KJV) Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. (Psa 150:4 KJV) Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. (Psa 150:5 KJV) Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. (Psa 150:6 KJV) Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

(John 4:24 KJV) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

WE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD, HOW THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION. WE BELIEVE IN JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH. WE BELIEVE THAT SALVATION IS FREE AND APART FROM ANY WORK OF MAN IS A RESULT OF THE SOVEREIGN GRACE OF GOD.

(John 3:16 KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(Eph 2:8 KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of ourselves: it is the gift of God: (Eph 2:9 KJV) Not of works, lest any man should boast.

(Rom 5:1 KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (Rom 5:2 KJV) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

WE BELIEVE IN THE GIFTS AND FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT BEING FREELY EXERCISED IN THE CHURCH.

(Mark 16:15 KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:16 KJV) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:17 KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (Mark 16:18 KJV) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

(1 Cor 12:4 KJV) Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. (1 Cor 12:5 KJV) And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. (1 Cor 12:6 KJV) And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. (1 Cor 12:7 KJV) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. (1 Cor 12:8 KJV) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; (1 Cor 12:9 KJV) To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; (1 Cor 12:10 KJV) To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: (1 Cor 12:11 KJV) But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

WE BELIEVE IN THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRIES THAT JESUS CHRIST SENT TO EQUIP AND MATURE THE CHURCH THROUGH BOTH MALE AND FEMALE.

(Eph 4:11 KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (Eph 4:12 KJV) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

(Gal 3:26 KJV) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:27 KJV) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Gal 3:28 KJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:29 KJV) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

WE BELIEVE THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST IS GIVEN TO BELIEVERS WHICH IS EVIDENCED BY SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

(Acts 2:4 KJV) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

(Mat 3:11 KJV) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

(Acts 1:8 KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

WE BELIEVE IN WATER BAPTISM OF BELIEVERS BY TOTAL IMMERSION SYMBOLIC OF CHRIST’S DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION.

(Rom 6:3 KJV) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Rom 6:4 KJV) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

HOLY COMMUNION SERVED AS A SACRAMENT MEMORIAL FOR BELIEVERS. COMMUNION IS COMMEMORATIVE AND SYMBOLIC OF THE BREAKING OF CHRIST’S BODY AND THE SHEDDING OF HIS BLOOD. IT IS TO BE PARTAKEN OF BY THOSE WHO HAVE ENTERED A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST.

(John 6:53 KJV)Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (John 6:54 KJV) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:55 KJV) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. (John 6:56 KJV) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. (John 6:57 KJV) As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. (John 6:58 KJV) This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

(1 Cor 11:23 KJV) For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: (1 Cor 11:24 KJV) And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. (1 Cor 11:25 KJV) After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (1 Cor 11:26 KJV) For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.(1 Cor 11:27 KJV) Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (1 Cor 11:28 KJV) But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (1 Cor 11:29 KJV) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

WE BELIEVE IN THE PERSONAL RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS CHURCH.

(1 Th 3:13 KJV) To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.(1 Th 5:23 KJV) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE IN THE ETERNAL LIFE OF THE BELIEVER.

(Rom 6:23 KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(Rom 5:21 KJV) That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

(John 3:15 KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(John 10:28 KJV) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
